Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy M42 as a mid-range device. An earlier report reveals that this smartphone might not launch in India but a recent report hints that it may make its way to the Indian market.
According to the information, the Samsung Galaxy M42 battery (EB-BM425ABY) has received the BIS certification in India and it is expected to launch soon.

Previously leaked specifications of this suggest that it may feature a 64MP main camera and 128GB storage. Its predecessor, Galaxy M40 was launched with a Snapdragon 675, so it is expected that Galaxy M42 will come with a better SoC.
Besides this currently, there is no other information available about the smartphone, and its official launch date is yet to be confirmed.
