Samsung Galaxy S21 September 2024 update Verizon

Circle to Search is Samsung’s one of the favorite AI features out there. The company couldn’t stop praising it in its earnings call later last month. With the One UI 6.1 update, Samsung’s favorite AI-powered Circle to Search feature is rolling out to the Galaxy S21 series.

The Galaxy S21 series isn’t eligible for Galaxy AI features. However, Samsung has included AI-derived Circle to Search with One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. This interesting way to search will provide an enhanced user experience on 2021 flagships.

Debuted with Samsung’s S24 series, Circle to Search is developed by Google. Using it, Galaxy users can immediately search all text and images on the screen without switching apps. To activate it, you just need to press and hold the home button or navigation handle.

An animation will appear across the phone’s screen letting you draw a circle around text or an image to start a Google search. The company has recently updated the feature with enhanced translation support, with more features being developed for future releases.

One UI 6.1 also introduces enhanced animation and reliable transition effects to smartphones. As far as the features are concerned, you will get pretty much stuff usable across the functional ease, camera and videography, editing, and productivity.

Samsung taps Chinese firm for Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE (Slim) HDI

Samsung One UI 6.1.1 Capture update

Chinese firm Fastprint could supply HDI for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE/Slim. TheElec reports that Fastprint is producing HDI for Samsung’s Slim foldable at its Beijing PCB factory, which it acquired from Japan’s Ibiden in 2022.

Samsung is preparing to launch a Slim variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is said that the Korean tech giant is bringing Galaxy Z Fold SE to compete with Chinese foldable brands. However, the Fold SE could only be sold in South Korea and China.

Components for the Z Fold 6 Slim have already been produced. Samsung’s MX Division has been testing the reliability of its SE foldable until recently. The production volume was kept small, which could be adjusted to market response.

Ibiden was temporarily absent from the supply chain for HDI for the Galaxy S23 series. In 4Q22, when Ibiden was pushing for the sale of the Beijing factory, the development of the S23 series was in full swing, making it difficult to continue the supply.

The background behind Fastprint’s primary supply of HDI for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is believed to be largely influenced by Ibiden’s existing technology. Ibiden has been producing HDI for Samsung phones at its Beijing factory.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold SE in October this year. Rumors say it’s only coming to China and South Korea. It supports S Pen despite ditching the digitizer technology to reduce the thickness and weight.

BREAKING: Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy ‘S25 Ultra’ spotted with shocking boost

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to crush Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy. In the latest revelation, Samsung insider IceUniverse posted shocking results of the next-gen Galaxy line’s Snapdragon chipset.

Galaxy S25 Ultra featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy spotted on Geekbench. Yesterday, the US variant made its first appearance on the benchmark database. Scores are just firing and set to kill iPhone 16 Pro Max in CPU performance.

It looks like Samsung is considering Standard Snapdragon for the US market and “for Galaxy” in the rest of the world. The previous listing revealed the S25 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 with a different CPU clock compared to the new one.

The Global S25 Ultra apparently runs Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy. It features two cores clocked at 4.47GHz and six cores clocked at 3.53GHz. The scores are 3011 points and 9706 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

The US model of the S25 Ultra scored 3,069 points in the single-core CPU performance test and 9,080 points in the multi-core CPU performance test. And as you can see the “for Galaxy” chip scores whopping 9,700 points.

The latest test device is paired with 12GB of RAM and boots Android 15. Since the RAM and OS aspects are the same, the multi-core score significantly improved due to the overclocked frequencies of the central processing unit.

It looks like Qualcomm and Samsung are on a mission to damage Apple’s repo in the market. Snapdragon’s “for Galaxy” brings huge improvement over the Standard variant. With software optimization, the scores are expected to climb further.

Apple iPhone 16’s Pro lineup uses A18 Pro chipset, manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process. Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be the first Qualcomm mobile chip to utilize a 3nm node. This major technical difference would also benefit the phone makers.
