According to the info, Apple is focused on the thinnest and lightest phone in time for the iPhone 17. The company may introduce an additional model, which would be slimmer and lighter than the other models. It’s expected to be unveiled with a “Slim” branding.
It aligns with the previous reports cited the arrival of a Slim model next year. Apple is focused on developing a significantly skinnier phone in time for the iPhone 17 line in 2025. Interestingly, Samsung is also expected to launch Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim in select markets this year.

Both LTE and 5G variants may come with a rated battery of 4860mAh and 5,000mAh typical. We are already aware of the nearly final design and specifications of the devices. Key Island will also be slapped surrounding the volume rockers.
The 5G model could use Exynos 1330 chip and LTE could get power from MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Both network variants will boot Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box, featuring up to six years of software updates support.
