July 2024 update hitting Galaxy S24 models in Europe
Samsung is expanding the July 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe. This update is already accessible to users in South Korea and the US. The company plans to roll it out to more countries shortly.

July 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones in Europe can be verified through One UI build versions S921BXXS3AXFE, S926BXXS3AXFE, and S928BXXS3AXFE respectively.
Galaxy S24 users in Europe can check this update through their device Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. The update not only enhances device security but also ensures access to the most up-to-date features and enhancements.
Aside from this, Samsung is preparing to release a major update based on One UI 6.1, which brings One UI 6.1.1 features to the Galaxy S24 series smartphones. This series will soon get new and enhanced Galaxy AI features with new updates. Two of the enhanced features of Galaxy AI are as follows:
Sketch to Image
- This feature converts hand-drawn sketches into realistic images. You can easily access the feature by opening the Photo Editor app through the pencil-shaped edit button in the Gallery app.
Portrait Studio
- This feature uses generative AI to transform normal photos into artistic portraits with just a few taps. It offers four different styles of portraits- Comic, 3D Character, Watercolor, and Sketch.
One UI 6.1.1 will bring Sketch to Image feature to older Samsung devices
Samsung Customization Service app is getting a new update with version 3.5.07.4. The new update is available for Galaxy devices with a package size of 26.58MB. It enhances both the performance and stability of the service.
The fresh update improves some functions of the app and fixes issues that users had with the previous version. Although there are no new features in this update, it aims to make the app more stable and reliable.

Samsung might kick off the One UI 7 Beta Program my mid-September. For the Galaxy S23 series, the company released the first Beta in August 2023. Well, events aren’t the same for the Galaxy S24 series this year as the Beta Program is delayed.
The Korean tech giant may expand the Beta trial to select mid-range phones. Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, and some Galaxy M series phones may also be eligible. Like every year, One UI 7 Beta should be available in at least 7 countries including the US.
One UI 7.0
Samsung is set to hold this year’s Developer Conference on October 3. The event’s stage will be utilized to introduce new One UI 7 features and enhancements. Besides, One UI 6 Watch and Tizen OS upgrades for TVs may also be unveiled by the Korean tech giant.
One UI Beta build can be installed on your primary handset, but we prefer avoiding it. If you don’t want to counter bugs and functional errors, Beta activity isn’t for you. Consider waiting till the Stable rollout commences as Samsung will also provide new features with One UI 6.1.1.

All of the devices come with Android 14 pre-installed. This means the last major upgrade for the above-listed phones would be Android 21. Besides, Samsung will continue to release regular security updates and feature drop updates until 2031.
The new software plan had not been expanded to older lineups like before. Still, the Galaxy S23 series as well as Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are eligible for 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. It’s uncertain but Samsung could provide an additional OS upgrade to some devices.
Samsung’s software strategy is inspired by Google’s support for Pixel phones. The company’s affordable Pixel 8a handset is also supported by a 7-year update plan. Therefore, we guess that the Galaxy S24 FE might join the 2024 flagships with Samsung’s top-notch software plan.
In addition, the Korean tech giant may also expand the update support to the next-gen flagship tablet lineup. The Galaxy Tab S10 series could launch this year, which might also be supported by seven years of OS and regular software updates plan.
