Samsung One UI 6.1.1 home screen issue

If your Samsung phone’s home screen is freezing or rebooting after updating to One UI 6.1.1, you’re not alone. Many Samsung users are facing issues where their home screen is not functioning properly.  This problem is particularly frustrating for people as it hinders a good user experience.

One of the reasons for crashing or freezing is that changing or disabling system apps through development mode or certain apps might affect the Home screen on your Samsung smartphone. When essential system components are altered, it can cause instability.

Fortunately, Samsung has shared a solution for this issue. To address and potentially resolve it, users can try resetting the app settings.

Here’s how you do this:

  • Navigate to the device’s Settings menu.
  • Go to the ‘Apps’ section.
  • Tap the three vertical dots located at the top right corner of the screen to open more options.
  • Select ‘Reset app settings’ from the dropdown menu.

[Rumor] Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Plus to boast double-layer camera rings

Published

Samsung Galaxy S25 Design

Samsung could bring a unique camera ring design to the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. Recently, we’ve seen the CAD renders of the S25 and S25 Ultra. Now, leaker IceUniverse highlighted a unique tweak of the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus’s camera rings.

Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus could get a double-layer camera ring design. The first layer close to the body could be smaller than the top layer. Ice also attached a reference image, showcasing the tentative camera ring of the S25/Plus.

The S24 series has a single-layer camera ring design. This would continue in the next Ultra, but the other two models may get a refresh. CAD renders shared by Onleaks have Fold 6-like camera rings, which might differ from the real ones.

It would be worth seeing if Samsung debuts this unique camera design. The new flagships are already said to bring some notable design changes. These unique refreshments would unlock a better overall appearance.

It looks like the placement of camera sensors will be the same as the S24 series. Samsung might not radically change its signature design strategy. The aim is to design handsets for a broad audience, countering Apple in key markets.

We haven’t heard of any camera upgrades in non-S25 Ultra models. Only the Ultrawide sensor could be upgraded in the Ultra. Meanwhile, the company recently debuted two new image sensors under its ISOCELL umbrella.

Well, we suggest you take this rumor as a pinch of salt. Tentative design modifications could not be determined through CAD renders. Once the set of promo material leaks, we will have a nearly final idea about the looks at the next-gen Galaxies.

What do you think about the rumored ring design? Will it be as durable as the conventional camera sensor bumps? Drop your opinion through socials tagging @thesammyfans on X!
