Samsung Galaxy AI

Samsung highlighted the best Galaxy AI features after the Pixel 9 launch. Google yesterday unveiled its Pixel 9 smartphones with upgraded AI capabilities. The company also confirmed select features coming to Android devices.

The Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come with more advanced Galaxy AI features. Some of the new functions will be expanded to older models through software update. With Galaxy AI, Samsung is making it much easier, more natural, and more enjoyable.

With Samsung’s advanced Interpreter feature, language barriers are no longer an issue. Besides, the Composer and Suggested replies facilitate quick, easy communication on the go. That’s not it, there’s plenty much to explore in the Galaxy AI suite.

Interpreter transforms your Galaxy Z series device into a real-time translation tool and maximizes the dual-screen capability. In Listening Mode, you can join a museum tour in another language and see the transcript, so you don’t miss any parts of the exhibition.

Conversation Mode in Interpreter enables easy conversations with someone in another language. Thanks to the dual screen of Galaxy foldables, you can switch your device into FlexMode so both parties can see the conversation.

With Chat Assist, you just need to input a few simple keywords, and Galaxy AI will generate a suitable message, edit it if needed, and send it quickly. Newly added features will be expanded to older Galaxy devices through software updates.

Chat Assist enhances sentence structure, refines expressions, corrects grammatical errors, and even generates complete sentences to save time while adjusting the tone to match your style. It can even draft a social media post based on your previous posts.

Suggested Replies feature creates tailored responses based on an analysis of your latest replies. The motive of this functionality is to help arrange a new time for dinner right from the Z Flip 6’s FlexWindow without even opening the device.

Samsung Galaxy S25

Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus existence confirmed in a new battery leak. The company will likely fuel the S25 Plus with the same battery as its predecessor. Is 4900mAh enough in 2025 when rival brands considering 5500mAh and beyond?

The Galaxy S25 Plus could be equipped with a 4900mAh battery. GalaxyClub reports that the S25+’s battery will have a rated capacity of 4,755mAh. It suggests that no battery upgrade in this year’s Plus model, unlike the Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 lineup in January 2025. Since the battery upgrade isn’t likely, the efficiency is expected to be improved. This year’s flagship models will use a 3nm-based chipset, compared to the 4nm of the S24 series.

This generational change is massive, as the smaller chip size will result in increased battery life. That said, the same 4900mAh battery is quite promising – paired with optimized software, it will marginally boost the performance.

While Chinese phone makers upping the battery capacity game, Samsung fans shouldn’t have to worry about it. It is noted that flagship Galaxy phones offer better battery performance than their rivals having larger battery cells.

The Galaxy S25 Plus will most likely use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Galaxy chip. It is being manufactured by TSMC using its 3nm process technology. Therefore, we can expect a slight increment in terms of battery efficiency.
