Samsung is releasing the August 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones in Canada. This update is already out for users in Korea and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
Users of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 can verify the August 2024 security update in Canada with One UI build version F956WVLUIAXH7 and F741WVLUIAXH7 respectively. The installation package size of the update is around 450MB.

At IAA 2024, Samsung will also present All Solid Battery and 46-phi cylindrical batteries. The All Solid Battery aims to provide the industry’s highest energy density. Samsung plans to mass produce All Solid Battery in 2027.

LFP+ Battery:
Samsung SDI is set to launch its LFP+ battery product optimized for EVs. It features a 10% higher energy density than the previous LFP battery. The battery can charge up to 80% percent in 20 minutes as applied with the latest charging tech.
LFP+ battery is in Samsung’s focus, boasting its proprietary No Thermal Propagation to further enhance safety. The advanced battery solution for electric vehicles is currently discussing mass-production plans with multiple customers.
Samsung is enhancing the Always On Display (AOD) app functions with the release of a new update with version 8.8.02.18. It improves user experience across Galaxy devices by enhanced features and bug fixes.
