Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra: Design revolution you won’t want to miss
Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra could debut Samsung’s biggest design overhaul in years. The vanilla model could be considered refined, but it wouldn’t be the same case for Ultra. Samsung seemingly readying the future of smartphone design.
The Galaxy S25 could feature extremely thin bezels surrounded by a premium metal frame. The Super AMOLED screen will have a tiny hole so the selfie snapper can work. The rest, you will be able to utilize for whatever you want.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra apparently ditching the Note’s design legacy. S24 Ultra features a flat display and the S25 Ultra could take things to another level. The corners will not remain boxy, adopting a slightly rounded corner design approach.
Renders based on CAD have some errors, as highlighted by IceUniverse. The CAD renders overlook the middle frame’s appearance visible from the front face. As a result, the bezels look quite thick, but they wouldn’t be in the consumer unit.
The metal-made middle frame will adopt the rear panel’s color hue. The premium screen will occupy the most area of the handset, accompanied by symmetrically thin bezels. The bezels could be even thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Earlier, it was rumored that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be nearly 8 grams thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The battery capacity will remain intact, suggesting exceptional engineering behind the scenes to make it lighter.
These renders are based on current information available and CAD data. The tentative launch timeline is January 2025, hence, nearly final look will only be determined around the end of November or early December through promo leaks.
