One UI 7 is the next iteration of Samsung’s custom skin, based on Android 15. With this major update, the company will bring several new features and enhancements. Samsung will make some exciting updates to its Smart Select features in the One UI 7.0 update.

Based on user feedback, Samsung is now officially highlighting a standard area for selection, which should help save time and make the feature more convenient. According to the community moderator, the company is working to create a flexible menu for Smart Select that changes based on what the user selects.

There are challenges in developing a fixed shortcut interface for automatically offering options such as copying or generating GIFs from text or images. However, Samsung is actively working on solutions that enhance user experiences.

Samsung One UI 7 Keyboard update

Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7 based on Android 15 will offer several new features and improvements for Galaxy devices. A new report suggests that One UI 7 is set to enhance the user experience of Samsung tablets, especially for those using keyboard accessories.

Android 15 update focuses on making tablets more functional and desktop-like. In the past, Android updates have improved the overall functionality of tablets, and One UI 7 continues this trend.

Google has recently introduced the “Tap Dragging” gesture, which simplifies the process of dragging and dropping items. Previously, users needed to press and hold the trackpad to move files. Now, they can tap an item and then drag it by keeping their finger on the touchpad.
