Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera Design

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could bring the Z Fold6-inspired redesigned camera ring. The design won’t look the same, but will surely appear different than the S24 Ultra. Based on a recent rumor, a concept creator created a new render.

TechnizoConcept created a new Galaxy S25 Ultra render displaying a redesigned camera ring design. The smartphone is designed based on the CAD renders leaked by Onleaks and information disclosed by IceUniverse.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra can be seen in the render with a fresh new ring appearance. The premiumness isn’t exactly visible in third-party renders. The real product will look even more beautiful, thanks to the titanium frame.

The phone could have Z Fold6-like camera rings with a textured design inside. However, the ring will be surrounded by a thin circular ring, making the sensors look more appealing. Notably, the sensor arrangement is just the same as the S24 Ultra.

Samsung is set to ditch the angular corner design approach from its Ultra flagship next year. The phone will have slightly rounded corners to improve in-hand feel. The width is also slightly reduced to further refine the handling.

S Pen support will continue. Samsung will keep the stylus functionality alive with the S25 Ultra. In the recent times, we’ve seen the company making smart use of this iconic functionality integrated with many Galaxy AI features.

Samsung Prez attending Snapdragon Summit: Key talks on Galaxy S25 chip, XR

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy

Samsung President TM Roh attending the Snapdragon Summit to discuss the Galaxy S25 chip and XR. Qualcomm is set to launch its next flagship mobile chipset this month. Samsung is preparing to source all Galaxy S25 series chips from Qualcomm.

According to Hankyung (via Jukanlosreve/X), Samsung Prez TM Roh will attend the Snapdragon Summit, with discussions that could happen on the Galaxy S25 series chip and XR device development with Qualcomm and Google.

TM Roh’s discussions will also focus on enhancing Samsung’s collaboration with Qualcomm. The official is set to board a flight to Hawaii next week to attend Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit where Snapdragon 8 Elite (8 Gen 4) will be released.

Samsung is important for Qualcomm in the same way as Google. Most of the Android vendors will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, Samsung alone sells the largest portion of flagship phones that would be equipped with the next Snapdragon.

Snapdragon 8 Elite is the first Qualcomm SoC made using TSMC’s 3nm process technology. Therefore, TM Roh’s meeting with Qualcomm’s management including CEO Cristiano Amon will focus on chip supply and price negotiations.

Previously, Samsung planned to use Exynos 2500 alongside Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, the company’s foundry division is in crisis over lower-than-expected yield. Hence, the next-gen Galaxy S models could exclusively use Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Concerns linger about potential significant price increases if Samsung were to rely solely on Qualcomm for all chip supplies. Therefore, TM Roh’s Hawaii visit becomes a crucial yet welcome move as part of freezing the price.

Samsung Galaxy S25’s secret Exynos 2500 spotted with monster specs

Samsung Galaxy S24 S23 Play system update

Key specs of Samsung Galaxy S25’s secret Exynos 2500 have been revealed. A brand new version of Exynos 2500 has surfaced on the Geekbench database. The prototype chip’s model number is the same as the previous listing, but the specs are different.

Samsung Galaxy S25’s Exynos 2500 spotted with 10-core architecture. The latest variant packs two more prime CPU cores compared to the initial prototype. This development comes when Samsung faces a tough call for the processor.

The new alleged Exynos 2500 chipset is equipped with three Cortex-X925 CPU cores clocked at 2.59GHz, five Cortex-A725 CPU cores clocked at 2.25GHz, and two Cortex-A520 CPU cores running at 1.75GHz.

The chip boasts AMD Radeon-based Xclipse 950 GPU with two additional GPU cores clocked at 1.3GHz. The additional 2 CPU and 2 GPU cores would make it a power-consuming chipset, suitable for tablets and laptops rather than smartphones.

Here are the leaked Exynos 2500 details from the Geekbench listing:

  • OpenCL Score: 15960
  • Operating System: Android 15
  • Model: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Full Android on S5E9955 ERD

At the recent earnings call, Samsung issued a public apology as it faces yield concerns with the 3nm foundry. The Exynos 2500’s commercialization is unlikely as the company won’t be able to approve mass production at a 20-30% yield rate.

Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite (8 Gen 4) could power the Galaxy S25 series globally. The company is reportedly considering a strategic deal with MediaTek to use Dimensity 9400 in the Galaxy S25 FE next year.
