Samsung ‘The Freestyle’ projector launched in Korea
On January 27, Samsung officially launched ‘The Freestyle‘ projectors in Korea. Initially, the device was introduced on January 4 as a part of CES 2022. The tech giant later put the projector up for pre-orders following pre-reservation in the country.
A couple of days back, Samsung announced that The Freestyle is gaining huge popularity in countries such as South Korea, North America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Europe. In addition, the pre-orders for the product exceeded 10,000 units within the first month of its global launch.

Moreover, Samsung also declared that in celebration of the domestic launch of The Freestyle, the company will hold a launch event until February 28. And, the buyers who will purchase it within the event period will get a 12-month subscription to the Korean OTT service ‘Tiving’ worth KRW 100,000 and a dedicated carrier worth KRW 220,000.
Further, in line with the official launch, Samsung.com will hold a recruitment event for the ‘The Freestyle Player’ experience group until February 6th. The domestic price of The Freestyle is 1.19 million won (around USD 987).

Samsung The Freestyle is the industry’s first portable projector that includes far-field voice control to allow users to choose their favorite voice assistants when using the device hands-free.
The device further supports full auto keystone and auto-leveling features. These make the device adjust its screen to any surface at any angle by itself and provide a perfectly balanced image every time. It also can also deliver pictures up to 100 inches in size.
On the other side, it only weighs 830 grams, thus, users can easily carry it wherever they go. In addition, it comes with a unique rotating case that makes it rotate 180 degrees, in order to display high-quality videos without being supported by other objects.

Samsung launched Music Frame WICKED Edition in the UK. The company has also announced its partnership with Universal Pictures. The Limited Edition Music Frame is available in the UK through the official online store and select retail locations.

Samsung could pack the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Z Flip 7 with Exynos processors. The company could launch its first affordable foldable phone next year. The device could get a different camera and processor from the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Leaker Jukanlosreve revealed that Samsung could use the Exynos 2400e in the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The former Exynos variant powers the Galaxy S24 FE, while the Exynos 2500 is an upcoming product.
Samsung previously intended to use Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy S25 series. However, the chip has a major performance difference from its Snapdragon counterpart. This led the company to solely rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the S25 series.
Exynos 2500 is being manufactured using Samsung Foundry’s 3nm process node. The yield rate is quite low (around 20%), which is far from the production threshold. However, Samsung chose the path to produce the chip at such a low yield rate.
Exynos 2400 has proven to be a decent chip with no frustrating flaws. The Exynos 2400e could be used in the Z Flip FE. The “e” model could be made using IPoP (Integrated Package on Package) tech, which is cheaper than the standard method.
Recently, a Korean media outlet reported that Samsung Foundry has started mass production of a 3nm Exynos 2500 chip. It was initially intended to be used in the S25 and S25 Plus, but issues pushed it towards the second-half debut in the Z Flip 7.
