Samsung US will let Galaxy users self-repair their smartphones
Samsung to provide a customer-first care experience across the country, the company is constantly offering customers more flexible and accessible options to increase their device usage, promote a circular economy and reduce e-waste.
Recently, Samsung Electronics America announced earlier this summer that Galaxy device owners can undertake product repairs for Samsung’s most popular models, the Galaxy S20 and S21 family products, and the Galaxy Tab S7+.
Samsung customer-first cares new self-repair program
The Galaxy users have access to real device components, repair tools, and intuitive, visual, step-by-step repair guides. Samsung is partnering with iFixit, a leading online repair community in this program. More details will be shared once self-repair becomes available.
To get started, Galaxy device owners will be able to replace display assemblies, backgrounds, and charging ports – and return used parts to Samsung for responsible recycling. In the future, Samsung plans to expand self-repair from our extensive product portfolio to more devices and repairs.
Samsung has a vast network of one-day services covering 80% of the United States population, where users can access more than 2,000 locations for mobile products. Samsung has more than 550 ‘we’ got you ‘vans offering personalized service in a 30-60 minute drive – and repair times are usually two hours or less.
In addition, customers can also drop their packages at the local UPS store. The Galaxy smartphone owners can extend the life of their devices with Samsung’s wide range of care options, including:

Galaxy S25 Ultra could be Samsung’s sleekest Ultra flagship in years. The company could introduce the device in January 2025. Meanwhile, a Samsung leaker just exposed the design dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could have 162.8mm in height, 77.6mm in width, and 8.2mm in thickness. It means the device will look slightly larger than the S24 Ultra whereas the thickness and width will be lower.
Leaker Onleaks is about to reveal the Galaxy S25 Ultra design. A blurred image is already live on a landing page, which will be unveiled as soon as the funding threshold is completed. Once done, Samsung fans will have their first look at the next Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to look different than the most recent Ultra models. The device won’t get sharp angular corners in favor of slightly rounded ones. The backplate could also be crafted keeping easier handling in mind.
