What is Flex Mode
By folding the phone’s foldable display in half you can activate the Flex mode. Once enabled, your phone’s top half of the screen is used when held upright. The lower part of the screen can be used to control the upper area. The bottom half has the controls, while the upper half shows the apps you want to use.

Apps that support Flex Mode
Not all apps supported by Flex mode on the Fold series phones are supported by Flex mode on the Flip phones. The following applications are compatible with Flex mode by default on Fold 4: Gallery, Clock, YouTube, Samsung TV Plus, Camera, Samsung Health, Google Duo, Zoom, Calculator, Calendar, Samsung Free, and Phone.

However, you must take the steps listed below if you want to use Flex Mode for any other app. Simply select Settings, followed by Advanced features and Labs. Then simply tap the Flex mode panel after scrolling down. Next, pick the application you want to use in Flex mode.
How to enable Flex Mode
- Go to “Advanced features” in the settings app after opening it.

Users with Samsung devices running from One UI 3.1 to One UI 6.0 have to select the video call effects icon directly on the call screen. But with One UI 6.1, accessing these features through the Quick Panel is now simpler.
