Samsung S21 October 2022 update

Galaxy S21 October 2022 update:

According to the official changelog, Samsung fixes an intermittent issue where the device didn’t receive text messages. Previously, various Verizon-locked Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 customers reported this problem, which is occurring after installing the September 2022 patch update.

This problem was randomly preventing Galaxy S21 devices to receive text messages. However, after restarting the phone, all the pending messages arrive in bulk. Fortunately, the issue is resolved and now users won’t have to restart their phones again and again to receive text messages.

Furthermore, enhancing the security and stability of your device is another aspect of this software update. It keeps your device away from bugs and viruses and makes sure that your files and data are saved safely. Also, it ensures you a seamless system performance without issues like crashing, lagging, slow loading, etc.

It is worth mentioning the Samsung Galaxy S21 October 2022 security patch update is currently releasing for Verizon-locked devices in the United States. However, it will reach carrier-unlocked models and other global regions very soon.

As of now, you can identify it through the One UI build version G991USQS5CVI8, G996USQS5CVI8, and G998USQS5CVI8 for the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra respectively. Meanwhile, to install it manually, go to your phone’s Settings app and enter the Software update section then tap on Download and install option. Follow a couple of on-screen instructions and you are done!
