Samsung started rolling out the latest November 2022 security update for Galaxy devices late last month. Now like every month, Samsung has officially published the revised list of monthly and quarterly plans for Galaxy devices along with the security patch details for the month of November 2022.

In the security update plan, the company adds new devices every month, while some devices are demoted and some are removed. As per the official information, Samsung’s November 2022 plan confirms Monthly Security updates for 39 Galaxy devices, Quarterly Security Updates for 65 devices, and Biannual Security Updates for 49 devices.

Samsung is currently working to roll out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for eligible devices. This month, several flagships and mid-range Galaxy devices will receive this major update, check here. Let’s see the updated Monthly and Quarterly Plan for November 2022.

Samsung shifted Galaxy Fold/Fold 5G models to Quarterly updates, and W23 / W23 Flip added, however, other devices remain the same. You can check eligible devices for monthly security updates below, to be mentioned, the list includes most of the flagship phones.

Samsung Quarterly Updates Devices

Samsung removed Galaxy M51 and Galaxy Tab A7 from the quarterly updates plan, and shifted it to Biannual security updates. It means the device will now be getting two more new security updates within a year, and the support will be ended. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 5G and Galaxy A04e smartphone has also been added to this list.

Folks, the wait for One UI 7.0 seems to be nearing its end. There’s a big leak regarding the Android 15-based One UI 7 update. The latest information suggests that Samsung Galaxy users can expect a major overhaul, featuring not just a design change but also introducing new features.

The information comes from Android Headlines, based on the details, we are going to see several new features. Let’s proceed with the leak information below.

Circle to Search with Homework Help:

Google initially unveiled this feature during its Google I/O event in May. Now, it’s making its way to Samsung devices with One UI 7. With Circle to Search, you can now do homework in subjects like Math, Physics, and History from your device.

Parental Controls:

With the One UI 7, Samsung is bringing enhanced options for parents to manage their children’s device usage, focusing on safety and content control.

AI-Enhanced Editing:

This feature allows users to edit portraits and possibly other media using artificial intelligence for better image manipulation or enhancement.

New App Icons:

Samsung has refreshed the icons for several stock apps. The camera interface will see changes, making controls more accessible at the bottom of the screen. You can also watch the One UI 7 in action here, videos are here, first and second.

In addition, Samsung is expanding the capabilities of Sketch to Image. This feature was first introduced with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 in the One UI 6.1.1 update in July, allowing users to create an image from a sketch using Generative AI. Now, you can see your drawings transformed into styles like 3D Cartoon, Sketch, or Watercolor.

Apart from this, based on previously leaked information, the update will bring more rounded design elements, apps, icons, and interface components a softer, more modern appearance.

There’s also improved animation, particularly focusing on non-linear and parallel animations for app opening and closing. You will also see new animations for charging and lock screen. In addition, the Quick Settings panel will be fully customizable, allowing for a more personalized user experience.

Samsung has confirmed that the stable One UI 7.0 update will be released with the Galaxy S25 series early next year. The beta version might be released towards the end of the current year or by the next few weeks.

One UI 7 animation could blow your mind! Samsung is readying its biggest upgrade for Galaxy users. In the meantime, a video of the alleged One UI 7 animation surfaced online, showcasing Samsung’s smoothest UI yet.

IceUniverse shared a video showing the smoothness of One UI 7 animation. The software has significantly improved motion and transitions. The app opening and closing aspects are now much more stable and reliable, with no glitches.

It seems a screen recording is being played on a Galaxy S25/Plus smartphone. You can also check the brand-new icons of Settings, Gallery, Phone, and Camera. The Weather widget is also revamped with a thinner shape than One UI 6.

Samsung fans can feel the difference between the animation evolution of One UI. Apple’s iOS is well-known for its animation and functional stability. We can now anticipate an equivalent experience on the One UI 7 software.

One UI 7 Beta will be released by the end of the year. Samsung hasn’t revealed a certain timeline for the Beta Program’s launch. Meanwhile, we could hear some big news regarding the Beta Program at SDC24 Korea on November 21st.

The Galaxy S24 series is sure to be eligible for the Beta Program. This year’s Beta trial could be a brief activity, covering select models in 7 regions. However, Samsung confirmed that it will be available for Developers and general users too.

Samsung aims to drop a nearly Stable One UI 7 Beta build for Galaxy users. The company is ensuring no major issue is left in the firmware. A slight delay is preferred over ruining the consumer experience because of weird bugs.

Samsung One UI 7 has many new ways to make your phone look just how you want

At SDC 2024, everyone anticipated a major announcement from Samsung, but the company did not unveil the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 during the event. However, Samsung gave us our first glimpse of the upcoming One UI 7.0 running on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Since then, we now have a more detailed hands-on video of the Galaxy S24 Ultra running One UI 7.0 beta, courtesy of a YouTuber (video below).

The YouTube channel Mobile Wala Bhai has released another hands-on video exploring One UI 7 features. Following the initial video, which highlighted features like the pill-shaped battery indicator, revamped app icons, a new charging indicator, and camera interface changes, this latest video dives into customization of the lock screen, Quick Panel, notifications bar, and Task Changer.

This new hands-on video shows lots of new ways you can change how your Samsung phone looks with One UI 7. Keep reading to find out more:

Lock Screen Customizations:

There are new options for lock screen customization in One UI 7, including access to the image gallery directly from the lock screen, new lock screen widgets, and various clock styles.

Quick Panel and Notifications:

In One UI 7.0, you can now swipe from different sides of the screen to access notifications or quick settings, enhancing usability with one-hand operation. The notification panel and quick toggles have been redesigned for a cleaner appearance.

In the image below, if you want to see your notifications, just swipe down from the left side of your phone’s screen. If you need the Quick Settings, swipe down from the right side. The notifications now have a more rounded look.

Task Changer:

With One UI 7, you’ll see that everything moves more smoothly on your phone screen. In addition, you can now easily shut down apps you’re not using anymore, which helps keep your phone running smoothly.

Stock App Redesign:

Several stock applications like Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Weather have new, more three-dimensional icons.

What do we know so far about One UI 7?

Samsung One UI 7 to introduce a comprehensive UI overhaul. This includes new animations, a stronger background blur effect in the app drawer, and redesigned app icons for a modern look. The camera app controls have been moved to the bottom for easier one-handed use. The One UI 7 is expected to add more advanced AI features.

At its developer conference, Samsung announced that One UI 7 will be released with the Galaxy S25 early next year, but users can expect the beta program to start by the end of 2024.
