Samsung releases January 2023 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 in Europe
A bit late but Samsung’s latest foldable smartphone – Galaxy Z Fold 4 has begun receiving the new January 2023 Android security patch update. This update fixes various One UI issues as well as slightly improves the system performance.

Aside from these, the company further fixes around six dozen vulnerabilities and exposures found in Samsung Galaxy smartphones. 52 of these issues are related to Google’s Android operating system, whereas, there are 20 Galaxy-specific errors that were affecting One UI software and its features.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 already testing One UI 5.1:
Samsung has already started testing the upcoming One UI 5.1 software for Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones. This update will bring a lot of new features, customization options, and better multitasking capabilities.
The One UI 5.1 is officially coming with the Galaxy S23 series on February 1. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to grab this update in late February, probably alongside the next security patch that belongs to February 2023.
