Samsung starts period tracking feature rollout to Galaxy Watch5
Samsung has kicked off an April 2023 security update for Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, which brings a new period tracking feature and improvements to deliver a better experience.
According to the changelog, the latest firmware of Galaxy Watch5 has updated the Samsung Health app to add a period tracking feature. Now, the watch will predict your period date by taking your skin temperature.

Furthermore, the latest update also improves system stability and reliability. This optimization makes sure that you are having a seamless experience on your watch, without any errors and interruptions.
April 2023 update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series is currently rolling out with an installation package size of 316.40 Megabytes. You can identify the latest update for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with version number ending with AWD6.
It is an initial rollout so it may take days or weeks to reach all Galaxy Watch5 models. Currently, the update is available in the UK and the company will soon expand it to more countries.
