Samsung is now releasing the May 2023 security update to the carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 series in the US. The latest software brings system security improvements by bringing the latest Android and One UI patches released in May 2023.

If you are in the US, it’s time to head toward your Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone’s Settings to download the May 2023 security update. Notably, the patch is being received by consumers having a T-Mobile line on their unlocked S22 series smartphone.

Earlier, the company revealed that the May 2023 patch brings fixes to 21 Samsung Vulnerability Exposures related to System UI, Phone app, Exynos modems, and more. Additionally, it includes all Android patches discovered and brought by Google.

On May 5, the South Korean tech giant started rolling out the latest firmware to the S22 series. Later on, the OEM expanded it to more markets such as Brazil, Europe, and India. This software also improves overall system performance, animation, and transition effects for a better user experience.
