Samsung has kicked off the May 2023 update for the Bixby app, which comes with new features, improvements, and functional enhancements. The new update comes with version 3.3.15.18 for One UI devices via Galaxy Store.

The latest update of the Samsung Bixby app improves Wake Up function, adds a new feature for the Child account, and provides a wide range of recommendations. Through this update, you will surely get the next level of experience.

With the new Bixby update, Galaxy users can now use more functions. Now, you can activate voice wake-up when a ringtone, alarm, or Bixby TTS is playing, even without the ‘Wake up when sound playing’ option.

The latest update also allows you to use the voice wake-up function while media is playing, such as music, by turning on the ‘Wake up when media is playing’ option in Bixby settings under Voice wake-up.

Moreover, when children use Bixby services by using a child account and require additional third-party sharing permissions, they may request verification of their parent’s consent.

Notable, the Child account feature is currently supported in Korea and the United States. More countries are to be added gradually. Bixby now suggests useful settings related to a wide range of commands.

Furthermore, the update also brings functional improvements and bug fixes. The update is currently rolling out for limited Galaxy devices and the company will soon expand it to more One UI devices.
