WhatsApp starts Multi Account feature development: Here is the preview
WhatsApp recently introduced Companion Mode so users can use their account on multiple devices hassle-free. A new input suggests that WhatsApp is now developing a Multi-Account feature, which will be a pretty useful addition to the platform.
WhatsApp Business Beta for Android 2.23.13.5 brings the Multi-Account feature. You can see the exclusive preview of this upcoming feature, courtesy of WABetaInfo. The new menu will allow you to store another account on the same device/app, similar to Telegram.
According to the info, when you set up an additional account for the first time, it will be stored on the device until you decide to log out of the account. This will make it easier to manage personal conversations, work-related discussions, and other social interactions within a single app.
Last but not least, WhatsApp’s new multi-account feature is under development and it will be released to Beta testers in a future update of the app via Play Store. If you want to know more about Samsung, One UI, and trending topics, stay tuned with us through social media.

WhatsApp’s Search feature for channels is on the way
WhatsApp has pushed a new beta update with the version to 2.24.23.6, available through the Google Play Beta Program. This update aims to improve how users interact with channels to make it easier to find and engage with content.
The fresh beta update reveals that a new feature is under development which will let users search for updates within channels. Currently, users often have to scroll through many messages to find specific information, which can be time-consuming and frustrating.
With the upcoming search option, users will be able to type in keywords or phrases to quickly find the updates they need. This will make it much easier to locate important messages without having to scroll.
The new search feature for channels is currently in development and will be available in a future update. Users will find this search option in the overflow menu and channel info screen for easy access.
Aside from this, WhatsApp recently introduced a channel analytics feature. This tool helps channel admins see important data, like how many unique accounts have viewed their posts, how their follower count is growing, and where their audience is located. These insights are valuable for admins to help them understand their audience better.
WhatsApp to add unread message counts for chat filters
WhatsApp for Android is developing a badge count feature for chat filters. The fresh beta version 2.24.23.4 is available on the Google Play Beta Program, which shows that a new helpful feature is under preparation and will be available in a future release.
The upcoming badge count feature will show how many unread messages are in each chat filter. This means that when you organize your chats into custom lists, you’ll see a small number next to each list indicating how many messages you haven’t read yet.
This new feature makes it easy to quickly find out which chats need your attention. For example, if you have a filter for family or work, you’ll know right away if there are unread messages in those groups. This feature is mainly useful for anyone who has several chats as it helps them stay organized.
Previously, WhatsApp introduced the ability to filter chats into custom lists that allowed users to group specific contacts and conversations. The new badge count feature will enhance this organization by adding unread message notifications to each list.
The unread message count feature is still in development but will be available in a future update. Stay tuned for upcoming WhatsApp updates.
WhatsApp bringing Reminders so you never miss status updates
WhatsApp bringing Reminders so you never miss status updates
WhatsApp has released a new beta update for Android, which brings an option named Reminders for status updates. The fresh beta update arrives with version 2.24.22.21, available through the Google Play Beta Program.
The new reminder notification feature helps users keep track of status updates they may have missed. If you don’t regularly check your contacts’ status, the Reminders option will make sure you don’t miss important posts.
With the Reminders feature on WhatsApp, users will receive notifications about new status updates, especially from contacts they interact with frequently or have marked as favorites. This is mainly useful for those with many contacts as it can help to easily check updates that disappear after 24 hours.
The option is turned off by default on WhatsApp, so you need to turn it on if you want to receive notifications for status updates from your favorite contacts.
To activate it, check the Reminders option in your notification settings and turn it on if you find it useful. WhatsApp has chosen not to let users change how often they get these reminders, as the app will automatically prioritize updates from your frequently interacted contacts.
This reminder notification feature is currently available to some beta testers and will be rolled out to more WhatsApp users in the coming days.
