WhatsApp Message Draft feature

WhatsApp has rolled out a new beta update for Android users, which brings a message draft feature. Identified via version 2.24.20.24, the update adds the ability to see message drafts directly in the chats list.

The message draft feature of Whatsapp allows users to easily spot incomplete messages without having to open each chat individually. When you start typing a message and don’t send it, a draft label will appear next to that chat in the list.

Through this feature, WhatsApp makes it quick to find conversations with unsent messages. Before this update, you had to open each chat to check for unsent drafts, but now, with the draft label, it’s much easier to keep track of messages you haven’t sent yet.

WhatsApp Message Draft feature

The message draft feature is currently being rolled out to some beta testers through the Google Play Beta Program. WhatsApp plans to expand this feature to more users in the coming days.

To see if this feature is available, just type a message in any chat and don’t send it. Then, go back to the chats list. If you see a draft label next to the chat, it means the feature is active for you. Notably, it is mandatory to install the latest beta version of WhatsApp.
