Locked Samsung Galaxy S22 getting October 2023 update in the US
Samsung recently started rolling out an October 2023 security update for unlocked Galaxy S22 series models in the US and the company is now making it available for locked variants.
October 2023 security patch addresses 2 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was resolved by previous updates from the company, and 1 is irrelevant to Galaxy devices. Besides Google patches, Samsung offers 12 SVE items to improve user experience.
Users of locked Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones can identify the October 2023 security update in the US through PDA versions S901USQS3CWI1, S906USQS3CWI1, and S908USQS3CWI1 respectively. The update is currently rolling out in the US and the company will soon expand it.
