Samsung is rolling out the first software update for the latest Galaxy flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S23 FE. The update is rolling out for locked models on the Verizon network in the US and other network carriers could soon receive this update.

The first update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone arrives with a One UI build version S711USQU1AWI9 in the US. It installs an Android security patch released in September 2023 to improve system security.

September 2023 security patch mends over 60 flaws, which are mainly related to Samsung Keyboard, Dual Messenger, Knox AI, Phone and Messaging Storage, One UI Home, Weather, and more.

If you have received this update, then you can install it through Settings >> Tap on Software Update >> Click on the Download and Install option.

Samsung has now officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra. With these launches, the company is expanding its premium tablet portfolio. Samsung’s new models are set to rule the Android tablet market with exceptional features.

The “real” anti-reflective screen

With the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Samsung is also showing Apple the real anti-reflective screen technology. Apple brought enhanced Nano-texture Glass to the 2024 iPad Pro that reduces glare for enhanced visibility.

Apple’s iPad Pro with Nano-texture Glass is available with 1TB and 2TB models – after paying an additional $100. Samsung’s anti-reflective screen tech has no caveats as all buyers will benefit from the next-generation display technology.

In its press release, Samsung confirmed the new Galaxy S24 FE features seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates and comes in a packaging box made from 100% recycled paper material.

The phone’s official launch date is September 26, 2024. The Korean tech giant vowed to support until September 26, 2031. This seven years of software lifecycle will bring 7 Android, around two dozen One UI versions, and over 60 security patches.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be available for order starting October 3, in Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint and Yellow colors. It starts at $649 for 128GB in the US and you can grab up to $400 trade-in credit on qualifying models.
