Google Clock app adds new weather forecast design for alarms

Google has updated its Clock app for Pixel phones, which arrives with a new design for the weather forecast feature that was added earlier this year. The feature shows the weather information for the day after the user dismisses their alarm in the morning.

The new design is more visually appealing and consistent. Instead of showing the weather forecast as a block of text with an icon, the app now displays two animated shapes that slide in from the corners of the screen.

As soon as you turn off your alarm, you will see a circle at the top left corner that shows the current temperature and conditions. Then, another shape will slide in from the bottom right corner that shows the high and low temperatures and the expected conditions for the day. You can tap on the “OK thanks” button at the bottom to dismiss the forecast.

The new design resembles the setup screen that Google has been using on Pixel phones for the past few years. This is a great way to start your day with a quick glance at the weather.
